To ensure your package is properly delivered within our advertised timeframes, please verify that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information, such as apartment numbers, suite designations, and correct abbreviations.

Accurate street numbers and route information are critical for timely delivery, and Dressa Afrika does not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address provided at the time of purchase is incorrect or incomplete.

While we do ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS, please be aware that expedited shipping is not available for these addresses, and orders shipping to APOs or US Territories may experience additional delays. We reserve the right to change shipping carriers at any time to ensure the best service.

For our international customers, goods are imported on behalf of the buyer, who authorizes Dressa Afrika to facilitate this process and, if necessary, delegate the import obligations to a subcontractor such as a customs broker. Please note that the buyer is responsible for paying all applicable taxes and duties in addition to the purchase price of the goods.

At Dressa Afrika, every piece of clothing is handled with the utmost care to ensure you receive the highest quality. All orders undergo a dedicated processing period, which we consider our preparation phase, before they are officially shipped. During this time, we verify your payment, perform a final quality check on your unique African prints, and carefully package your items for their journey. It is important to note that this processing time is separate from the shipping duration; the countdown for your order to reach your door begins only after this preparation is complete. Most domestic and international orders take up to 4 business days to process, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We prioritize excellence in every stitch, and these few days allow us to ensure your order is perfect before it leaves our fulfillment center and is handed over to our delivery partners.

Once your order has been carefully packaged and leaves our fulfillment center, the transit time officially begins. For our US clients, delivery typically takes between 1 and 12 business days depending on your chosen shipping method and your distance from our hub. It is important to remember that this timeframe starts from the date of shipment when the courier picks up the item, rather than the date the order was placed; therefore, your total wait time will be the sum of the processing period plus the shipping duration.

We know you are excited to receive your new look, so as soon as your order is on its way, we will send a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to follow your package’s journey in real time. For our Canadian customers, please be aware that due to ongoing Canada Post labor disruptions, deliveries may experience unexpected delays, though we have secured alternative shipping routes to minimize these interruptions.

Throughout this process, we remain committed to transparent shipping costs with no hidden fees, ensuring your final total is calculated automatically and clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize your purchase.

Regarding refunds and refused shipments, please be aware that all shipping fees are paid directly to our carriers and are therefore non-refundable. If you choose to refuse a shipment from Dressa Afrika, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges as well as any additional costs incurred by the carrier to return the package to our facility.

These combined costs will be deducted from any store credit or refund issued for the returned items. For those shipping to P.O. Boxes, we are happy to facilitate delivery via USPS; however, please note that expedited and rush shipping options are not available for these addresses. To ensure your African wear arrives urgently, we recommend providing a physical residential or business address to access our faster shipping methods.

At Dressa Afrika, we want to ensure your vibrant new pieces arrive safely; however, once a package leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the carrier. If your tracking information shows your package was delivered but you have not received it, or if it appears to be lost in transit, you must contact us within 30 days of the listed delivery date so that we may open an investigation with the carrier.

Please note that after this 30-day window, we are unfortunately unable to offer a reshipment or store credit. While Dressa Afrika cannot automatically guarantee responsibility for packages that the carrier has marked as delivered, we truly value our customers and will review these instances on a case-by-case basis.

As a helpful tip, before contacting us about a missing delivered package, we kindly ask that you check with neighbors, building managers, or behind porch furniture, as couriers occasionally place items in discreet locations to prevent theft.

We understand that shipping issues can be frustrating, and should your package go missing, we are here to support you through the resolution process.

While Dressa Afrika is not responsible for carrier errors, we will actively assist you in working with the shipping provider to complete the formal claims process, though please keep in mind that these investigations can take up to 30 days depending on the specific courier used.

To protect our business and maintain fair pricing, we follow a strict policy regarding confirmed deliveries: Dressa Afrika does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been officially reported as delivered by the carrier. Consequently, we do not issue refunds, reshipments, or store credits for packages where the carrier provides confirmation of a successful delivery to the address provided.

To ensure your items arrive safely, we highly recommend shipping to a secure location where someone is available to receive the package, or using a business address if you will not be home during delivery hours.

If your order includes multiple items and one or more of the pieces are found to be out of stock, we will proceed by shipping the available portion of your order to avoid unnecessary delays. In these instances, a refund for the unavailable item or items will be issued immediately to your original form of payment. We strive to keep our inventory as accurate as possible, but this process ensures that you still receive the rest of your vibrant Dressa Afrika collection without waiting for the entire shipment.

While we make every effort to accommodate your specific shipping and billing preferences, Dressa Afrika reserves the right to require a matching shipping and billing address in instances where we are unable to verify a provided address or process an order securely.

Additionally, to protect the integrity of our brand and our community, we reserve the right to solely define, limit, refuse, or cancel orders at any time due to an irregular or excessive returns history—particularly those indicative of “wardrobing” or involving items that have been worn, altered, laundered, or damaged. We also reserve the right to reject orders or returns linked to potential fraudulent or criminal activity. These measures allow us to ensure a fair and secure shopping experience for all our customers while maintaining the high quality of our authentic African pieces.
